Noir Furniture Showroom High Point Furniture Market

What a treat to live just 20 minutes from the High Point Furniture Market. I have been doing custom decorative finishes in showrooms, styling, buying, selling, and attending the markets in April and October for over 20 years. Of course, this October market was extremely different due to the pandemic. No international buyers, mostly designers, very quiet. Perfect for taking photos and standing in one place, deep in décor-pondering thoughts. Perfect to visit the Noir Furniture showroom.

MEET NOIR!

I am so attracted to the monochromatic scheme in this gorgeous Noir showroom – black, natural woods and accessories, and lots of brassy-gold. As an avid reader, their creative take on bookshelves makes me swoon over the possibilities.

The high, dark-painted walls always draw me right in to this showroom. I have to look at every stunning vignette and piece, ceiling to floor.

This swoon-worthy cream leather chair is so me. A little bit retro, a little bit modern, a lot sexy. I think it would be a perfect complement to my rustic elegant theme at home.

And what about this black leather sling chair! Classy. It would fit into so many places. Not to mention the drop-dead gorgeous lighting!

Is a desk a must for you like it is for me? How cool is this design. Of course the raven artwork and even more sparkly lighting just sings to me too.

Yup, there I am in the mirror, capturing this simple corner. I have always loved large-scale pieces with chunky accessories.

As I mentioned, looking up at Noir is a must. The warm-colored finish coupled with lots of brilliance, always near a mirror to reflect the sparkle, calls my name.

What do you think? Love peeking into the Market with me? Stay tuned for several more posts, coming up soon!

A NOTE: The Market is for furniture buyers and interior designers from around the glove, selling to the trade only. In other words, it is not open to the public since it’s where stores shop for their goods.
