Unique Styling Solutions For Our Unusual Entry Hallway

We have quite an unusual 1970s brick ranch home that features a deep courtyard entry. In summer, enormous bright chartreuse hostas take over the shady side of the area. Naturally, it just made sense to my color-loving brain to paint the front door the same shade of green.

My first glass of wine in two months, celebrating My first glass of wine in two months, celebrating my new knee and the next new one soon to come. Healing is like a full-time job. Painful, frustrating, feeling like NO progress is happening. Taking responsibility for intense rehab that will shape ultimate knee function, hopefully for the rest of my life. And, knowing that Steve, Jenny and Mia, and SO many friends and neighbors helped me get this far, makes me tear up. It does take a village and I am forever thankful. It seems like we rarely have great photos of our l It seems like we rarely have great photos of our lovely girls, except during holidays. They got to spend some quality sister time over the weekend and yay, here they are! Mia the redhead, her Daddy’s clone, and Jenny the blonde, my mini me. We couldn’t be prouder of the women that they have become.

These blanket flowers that we planted last year ar These blanket flowers that we planted last year are loving the hot sun. Today I am trying to build up some strength and endurance by planting the petunias we bought yesterday. It will take me all day, since I plant for five minutes and rest for an hour, but I am excited to get outside and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air.  #blanketflowers #gardening #orangeflowers #ouryard #planting #healing
